1. Monument to the writer Stanisław Jachowicz in Ujazdów Park.
Stanisław Jachowicz was a Polish educator, poet and children books author. He is regarded as the founding father of children literature in Poland. He has written many fairy tales, penned the first children’s songbook in Poland, and set up the first European daily newspaper for young readers.

2. Monument to the Janusz Korczak and the children from his orphanage at Świętokrzyska. Janusz Korczak, the pen name of Henryk Goldszmit, was a Polish-Jewish educator, children’s author, and pedagogue known as Pan Doktor or Stary Doktor. Janusz Korczak and the children from his orphanage were sent to Treblinka extermination camp when the institution (within the Jewish Ghetto) was liquidated. “I exist not to be loved and admired, but to love and act.
